Notice pursuant to the Indian Act and Indian Band Election Regulations

NOTICE OF ELECTION POLL

Notice is hereby given to the electors of the Whispering Pines/Clinton Indian Band that the Election will be held on January 15, 2026, in accordance with the Indian Band Election Regulations, for the purpose of electing one (1) Chief and three (3) Councillors for the ensuing term of office.

The POLL will take place on January 15, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM to be held at Annex Building, 615 Whispering Pines Drive, Kamloops, BC.

Please note that any voter may vote by mail-in ballot. Mail-in ballot packages will automatically be sent to all off-reserve electors for whom the Band has a mailing address on record. To request a mail-in ballot from the Electoral Officer, please use the contact information listed below.

An elector may permit the Electoral Officer to release their mailing address to the candidates.

There is no online voting for this event.

The ballots cast at this election will be counted at Annex Building, 615 Whispering Pines Drive, Kamloops, BC immediately following the close of the poll on January 15, 2026.
